I've been rocking this phone for a little over a year now. I freaking love it.
I didn't want a touch screen smart phone, I wanted to stick with my QWERTY Rumor 2 (until a software crash and a change of service providers moved me on). This was the best price mark, and does everything I want it to without having to read the manual to learn to turn it on.
Lately it has been a bit more laggy, such is the way with OS updates. I have only had one physical fault in it (which Samsung took care of under warranty and my service provider gave me an identical phone as a loaner for those two weeks), that was the power button becoming unresponsive and sticking.
Definitely a good model to start with if you aren't sure if you want a smart phone. It's easy to learn and the design of it is pleasant enough.

Yup buddy signal problem exists. For both GSM and wifi. I'm using ics. GSM network is healthy. Bit wofo only one bar even k router is just a single room behind.;(

I own S two years and a month from now. Excellent device, have done all range of tasks (sorry, I'm not a gamer) except advanced games, and still working great. (I9020, bought in US and used in Europe). I have installed 4.2.1. CyanogenMod, it's just brilliant.

I have network issue, frequent lose of network most of the day. Checked using 3 different SIM cards, problem is same. Can anybody help me???????

For hardware side, open back cover if u find black coating type covering with exposed connecting chips so there u go u saw NFC chip.

When two sets capable of NFC are in contact so u can use this function. Information , media and different types of documents can be sent. I9020 is international NEXUS S. I 9023 is expensive Nexus S due to S-LCD. Buy i9020 .

I would prefer you buying the Samsung Google Nexus. It is very good and the programs are easy to use. It has a very good picture resolution. I can just go on and on on. But in shut, its good, go for it.
