I think it's a good device . Very nice display (4 inch , super AM-OLED) , nice chip (hummingbird) , not very good CPU (1 gh single core) but a good type A8 & with a very good GPU that make it pretty fast, has official Jellybean update
the only bad things (not have gorilla glass & bad video recording)

There is pretty much no reason to get Nexus S now, so I'll say, if those two are the only choice, get xperia U.
But the problem is, Xperia U features 3.5inch screen, which I consider too small...
As a conclusion I'll say search for other phones rather than Nexus S or xperia U.

phone is gr8 and fast and delighted me....
its Wifi is also very good...... color and pixels are speechless...
i haven't try skype on it but for sure...it works..

The phone is absolutely great, with custom software its very fast and responsive, only the battery life is weak if u use it all day.
