why such cost.does it has good hardware.only 5mp and only 512mb ram.only 1Ghz cpu.just has android 2.3 to say..blackberry OS is much better than that.

Was wondering. After a medium usage, my top right screen gets hot even when I don't touch the top screen. I only go for the onscreen qwerty keyboard which is below.. so my question is. is that normal? where the top screen gets hot? :s do reply a.s.a.p!

Blackberry mobiles are absolutely differently built. Blackberry has a different way of user interface design. Nexus S is a real smartphone! It really observes how you wanna use that mobile. I am using this phone been two months in Toronto. Never had a worry about anything! This phone is just awesome!

I have been watched all the comments for the last couple of months. I own this phone (I9020T, Best Buy, SuperAmoled)
I have recently tried, bought and tested different Android devices, but honestly, there is nothing out there having still a decent size ( although this is already a big device, SGSII or LG Optimus are way to big) and performing like this one.
I know on paper many ohter devices out there might look more atractive, but do not perfrm as well as nexus S.
Yes, you will get awsome camera( Xperia line), nicer design(Arc, Ray) better processor( Atrix, LG2X, Sensation) or better GPU.This is only on paper, as in the real life, Nexus S is quite unbeatable.
I have also realized, many people say nothing about battery life, but let me tell you, the battery life is great! I also owned a Galaxy S, which techically speaking is the same phone.However, I couldn't get more than 7-8 hours under heavy use. I have root and have it installed different Rom's....but nothing really worked.
Nexus S (at least the SAmoled one) can last easily 12-14 hours under heavy, i mean heavy use(3 hours wifi with screen on, wifi turned on all day long, some tweets,mails some music and 30 min calls) and still have 20 % battery late at night.At least 20%.
It wasn't like this form the beggining, but with every update got better and better.
Yes, there is no FM radio, yes it is a quite big device( and don't understand why phones are getting bigger and bigger; 3,7 would be the biggest i can agree or 4.0 but with the screen pushed toward extremities, so the phone can be operated with one hand;whatever device needs two hands to be operated, to me is not a phone anymore), yes the plastic might look cheap, altough I believe it has a robust construction, is a fingerprint magnet, slipery, not the best wifi signal but:
IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN COMPETE IPHONE. Screen and tocuh response is great, does not crash on me (like Xperia line) whatever you through at it...it will just do it...like a faitful animal....and I love my pet!!!
Waitting to see this on a smaller package.This is one of the reassons why people are still going for the Iphone...but no one seems to realize that...I would say that size is maybe 40 % of the reassons why people would buy Iphone....

I HAVE USED samsung as well as sony...but we should buy the true value for our money..NOKIA IS a better option..nokia key pad and body does not damage easily...it is a market leader though its craze has diminished but it is coming again with high quality phones..soon windows would b available...moreover nolkia care is easily available...other phones are running after android..but standard ones like apple and nokia have their own way and style...I AM PLANNING TO BUY NOKIA 701...AND ALSO WE R WELL FAMILHAR WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF NOKIA BATTERIES..

The phone is awesome..though I miss radio. the sound quality is ok..the drawback of the phone is you can't individually select messages to be deleted..it doesn't have select option..otherwise its really good..I love my phone..

You should not buy any samsung or SE product because they do not have any support from developers,
Samsung(except the flagship) do not have any value for customers
and
For SE, I'm using xperia neo (bought 2 weeks ago from ebay for 19600) and i can say that no dev support is present
Cool phone with arc-like features, but i love modding and tweaking, so not of any use for me
If you really want a good phone that can hook up in any condition, have full dev support, go 4 an HTC....you'll also appreciate its build quality
I remember i drowned my nexus one 3 times (accidently), but at time of selling it off, it looked like a new phone, like nothing happened to it ever

After a long search on android phones, i came on conclusion on Nexus S in my budget in Rs.20,000/-. offcourse s2 is great but not comfortable for my pocket.
I was already using Xperia X10i v.2.3, but was not at all comfortable wid that phone. i would like to know, weather all that things are solved in this phone as mentioned:
*in x10, sms was not getting delivered wen using net or downloading. after closing browser, all the sms gets in the inbox together. (does this phone hav same problem, or all android)
*in x10, earpiece quality was very low. one should have good grip between your ears and your phone to listen correctly. and in traffic it becomes impossible to talk.(according to me, Blackberry's voice quality might be the best in any phone of the world)
*In x10, while attemping a call, as our ears or face touch the phone, its touch screen starts responding and works on any options on call menu.. dat is in between call, either it goes on HOLD or SPEAKERPHONE, Or open CONTACTS and dial number. (its wen you hav good grip at your ear while talking)
I used c7, and apple 3gs. but dis thing never happened.
*In x10, display was not visible properly in sunlight.
*in x10, most important, dre was very poor battery back-up. after full charge, i used to chat, browsing, and call, and needs to charge in 5-6 hours. even i was using juice defender.
So, guys, please help me, weather i can overcome with this solutions in dis NEXUS S? Even i am Bit confused between Nexus S & Galaxy S. Pls guide me. Or even guide if any other android is better.
