Hello everyone,
I got this phone yesterday and I will return it tomorrow. DO NOT BUY. Here is why: the BATTERY.
It is a great piece of art, I love this phone, apps and everything, BUT the battery.
I am average phone user, in 7am the phone was charged 100%, I went to work, I did not use it a lot at all just made few phone calls, opened few apps... By 5pm same day the battery was at 5%. By the time I came home from work the phone was DEAD. If I had road emergency I would of been screwed. I change phones every 6 months, and so far, this one has the WORST BATTERY FROM ALL SMARTPHONES. DO NOT BUY.

Samsung galaxy S (i9000) has video call option and a secondry camera.

There is nothing like galaxy tab. Wat an awesome treat it will be when samsung will give 2.3 to galaxy tab users

Im loving this phone.
It seems this phone does not support 720p video recording. Can someone please tell if it is possible to do HD recording via a software update? or is it a hardware limitation?

DAMN IT!
i have a contract with AT&T and i would love to buy this phone in the UnLocked version, but it does not support AT&T 3G... :-(
Why in the world don't they make a phone that has all 5 HDSPA Network Bands (850,900,1700,1900,2100)?
Basically, by using only the bands they are using, it works only with Tmobile 3G and all the rest are limited to the 2G Network... i am impressed that Google and Samsung together didn't do something like this because the main key of the Google Phones is that they are not SIM Locked, but if they can't pick up all the Bands, it's like if they were... and so i am still stuck with an old 2G Blackberry

ART, 16 Dec 2010AVOID SAMSUNG !!! Here in Portugal in case of repair War... moredude that is the same in every country, you just have to find a good repair center that will provide the loan phone.

looks like a big treat to iphone... respected mobile companies produces adroid powered smartphones every month, they are getting more eye popping, more advanced & much flexible.

Th... morehold on a minute. if the display is contoured inwards, how could it possibly be more likely to land on it's face and smash the glass, if you drop it? if anything, the contour face would make it less likely to smash the glass if you dropped it.

Not only that it lacks HD recording, but the 5 mp camera is worse than the galaxy s! Plus no Radio, no sd card and not all versions will have a super amoled screen!
Google really didn't do a good job with this phone! Please think twice before buying this phone, it's not worth it.

Don't go with this phone or you will be disappointed!! Remember if the phone has any hardware issues and needs to be fixed you must take it to a samsung retailer which means it will take them ages to give you your phone back!
Samsung are knows for being terrible when it comes to support, so maybe you will have the latest software but what if any hardware problems comes on? Just be aware of such thing and do your homework first, there has been a lot of people who complain about samsung and their terrible support. So don't make a mistake and then come here and cry and whine like a baby!

no hd recording?such a shame cuz this phone looks like a winner compared to the failure that was the last nexus.
