It hardly make any sense to buy this stuff, it has Gingerbread and secondary camera but no additional card slot, and it cost u 650euro. Rather going for this handset or HTC desire HD, i would prefer myself to purchase Motorola Droid Pro, overall with feature it kills both the handset's(Nexus s & Desire HD). First this has a unique form factor touch and type, 320 x 480 pixels, 3.1 inches full touch display. Second about internal memory it is 8GB inbuilt, it has 512 MB RAM with 2 GB ROM, and expandable memory is up to 32GB, which is much better than Desire HD, and also come's along with 8GB microSD card. Third about OS and Processor Droid pro has Android OS, v2.2 Froyo which also get's upgrade to Gingerbread, and 1GHz TI OMAP3620-1000 processor which is much better than Nexus s. Forth and last is Camera and Price point, this has 5 MP camera with 2592х1944 pixels, autofocus, dual-LED flash and Video is on D1 (720x480 pixels) @ 26-30 fps which is far better in this Price point which is 380euro.

I have read the first five pages of this forum about the Nexus S. No memory card slot and price tag seem to be the reason why most of you won't pick up this phone this Christmas. I must respond and say those are minor issues. Whats also funny is that the majority of you poster either have an ipod touch or iphone. Never heard complaints from millions of people lining up to buy the iphone 4 even before it was released which by the way no card slot and very much pricey. For android or google fan boy who are disappointed in this build because sadly I must say, for what it's worth, it does feel a bit cheap in hand but with the features that come with the phone, it will suffice. I will be reading post til this weekend. Maybe see your view of the perfect Google phone in terms of build.

I like that model too, but this is a good phone as well. I don't know why it lacks a memory card slot, but it is not a big thing for me.

By the way 16 GB of storage isn't enough for you? Than wait for the Galaxy S 2. :D

Worst built device of today . Just have impressive gingerbread and nothing special from nexus one.
Too much fingerprint magnet, plasticy build.
go for apple iphone 4g it is 200% better device.

would people stop comparing the nexus s with the galaxy s.
Galaxy S is Samsung
Nexus S is Google just made by Samsung.
If you want to compare apples with apples compare the
NEXUS S with NEXUS ONE.

Well i am in NYC and from here i see it as: The Htc desire hd right now is $629.00 and the Google nexus S is $529.00 at best buy.
I like the htc desire hd and always love it but now a choice has to be made. Buy the nexus S and save money and when a next smart phone comes out i can get it at the end of the year or buy the HTC desire HD and be stuck with it for a long while because i will be broke.
Hmmm... What shall i ever do guys?
