ok i think i know why no hspa+. the nexus s has free hotspots which T-mobile wants to charge for but google believes it should be free so in a compromise google decided to leave of the hspa+ and T-mobile agreed to be in partnership with it. The best speeds i have seen from hspa+ is 10mbps down but most speeds i see are between 3 and 6 which i get on my nexus one. I have no need for 10mbps down speeds on my phone. thats for like downloading large files and online gaming on my ps3. Anyone know if this phone has DLNA?

Android version history: v1.6, v2.0, v2.1, v2.2 (all of these version only one major update (flash) came with v2.2)
Some android phones expamle sucking version updates;
1) Xperia X10 release March 2010 with v1.6, and updated to v2.1 (still existing v2.2) not v2.2 at Novamber 2010 (8 months later) and still suck with flash support... X10 dead...
2) Galaxy S updated to v2.2 months later again... According to Samsung's explanation update to v2.3 will be researched for performance criteria... Just Samsung tell lie to Galaxy S owners..
Neither google nor samsung wont allow to update v2.3 to Galaxy S, because Nexus S sales will drop if Galaxy S updated to v2.3.
Just sales politic... Galaxy S dead...
3) HTC made 6 different WP7 OS running phones in one month which indicate continue with WP7 more than android...

I love to go with the phone but having one question to ask , Does this phone is having the availability in all country. I have gone through http://www.techarena.in/review/39590-google-nexus-s-android-phone-review.htm and come to know that this only available in United State. Is it true?

Ok, I just got finished reading the Best Buy faq on this phone and they definitely said it's a 3g phone and not a hspa+ phone so does this mean its speed would be like my hd2? Will any of its other specs make it faster than my hd2? Thanks for your answers in advance! Billy

I have a desire hd for about 3 weeks and I want to say is everything you can expect from a phone: 8mp camera, 768 ram(not 512 like nexus s), dual led flash, and much more. I like my htc and I think htc phones is for mens, plastic toys is for children! HTC BETTER PHONE!!!

why all the fuss about the memory card slot it has more than we need for memory...second d1 videos offers great quality....so if you need 10 gb for your videos in hd quality buy a sony video recorder....i dont know wy people forget about a powerful os and an unmatched display with a curved screen and a contour display....consider that the nexus s is a unique handset the first of its kind....

sorry,didnt know where elso to go for help..Im having trouble with my nexus one recognizing mp3 files from the sd card.Im not from the states so i cant purchase any apps, just try the free ones. and i have tried everything out there and still cant play any music from my memory card..any help would be great,thanx

Well this sucks! And here I thought this was like the pumped up version of the Galaxy S!!! Ok, so it has an oleophobic surface and contour display with curved glass screen plus flash and all that sh!t!! Then, what the fvck happened to the radio and the 720p recording? Why couldn't they just give us the full package???

Would be putting money aside to buy this one if the camera was 8 MP.
And I'm disappointed that the specs do not include Swype, especially since GSMarena was calling this the Galaxy S in Google wrapping.

I think, according to its specs, that this phone is almost the perfect one. It is better than teh galaxy in having a LED Flash. it has support for Divx and similar HD vids. it looks nice not heavy. powerful processor, good ram and good camera. GPS, document editing, flash support for browser. it may only have one point if weakness with the video recording
