this is a BEAUTIFUL phone!! i picked it up today and i don't have any gripes about it. "noled" is a great app to get that blinks a notification on your screen, kind of like a screen saver on a computer ... so that takes care of not having a dedicated led notification on the phone itself. i actually like it better. poor camera and video recording? the phone takes great shots in normal settings. i'm a professional photographer and i see no problems with it... it's a phone! if i'm going somewhere and i know that a camera would come in handy then i bring my camera along. if i'm out and about and think "oh hey, that's cool", then i'll snap a shot. i'm not blowing the photos up to put in a big frame on the wall. if that's your thing then you will be waiting a loooong time for a phone like that. pixel distortion and color over/under saturation is pathetic on every phone when you start enlarging them. i don't see the need for everyone going after these 8 and 12 (even a 16 in the works) mega pixel phones. the phone is blazing fast, no custom ui bullcrap to worry about. it's phenomenal. if you're thinking of getting it, do! adobe flash 10.2 downloaded from the market is great too. love it, love it, love it.

this phone isn't just for the india market.
here in europe/austria there are only i9023 sold by the providers. impossible to get a real i9020.

ASMOLED has better bl... moreRead: S-LCD is cheaper than amoled, and is half the price of s-amoled. Thats why almost all budget phones have LCD (my galaxy ace has lcd), while high end phones have s-amoled.
But from my experience, LCD is good already, and you can read text even in strong sunlight. LCD also has fewer bugs (discoloration, yellowing, corner fringing) than s-amoled.

is there ram on the I9023 because if u check the specs it says only 16gb rom no mention f ram. but on the I 9020A/T it says 512 mb ram?

Ginger bread , which is not officially announced for I9000 yet. No radio, No notification options in the phone(for quick use of recently used applications)
I9000 has radio and extraordinary screen and clock/CPU speed is too good.
all together I prefer buying Galaxy S to nexus.
But this is very classy look phone . those who prefer buying a classy look phone, can go for this one ..
