My sister still uses a dumb phone and refuses to go to smart phone because she does not want to spend any money and insists on having Qwerty keyboard. So when I found this phone in the parking lot of a Sam's Club, I immediately thought it would fit the bill. I checked the specs and if it was for me it would suck but for her should work OK. Then I messed around with it a bit and decided as it was, it would suck even for her. Luckily, I stumbled onto the link somebody else posted below and installed basically the ONLY ROM available for it and that did it. Now phone is quick and almost comepletely bloatware free. I installed a bunch of apps on it for her and they all get moved to the modified 16GB SD card I put in it. The original ROM called for only a 2GB because that is what came with the phone but since I was not sure if my sister was going to keep up with the extra steps the link2sd app requires, I figured 16GB would fit the bill. I used it several days using wifi and it worked pretty good. I sent it to her to activate on Net10 and we'll see how that works out. For now, I liked how it worked for what it is. If you keep in mind it's limitations it is an OK phone; so far anyway.

The internal storage and memory is dismal. These phones were defective. The touch screen would stop working while closed, then completely. The microphone would then go out. I had 2 of them replaced. This last one has lasted for some time without any problems so I believe they may have fixed the defect. I was able to get this phone rooted and modded. With the mod, and Link2SD, it now runs without any problems. If you have this phone, you will need atleast a 2GB SD card. You will also need to go to the following page, to root and mod your phone. If not, you will not be able to install more than a few apps (3-4) and they will run poorly.

Anonymous, 24 Oct 2012hate this phone. it sucks. the internal memory is too low t... moreThat is a common problem with this phone thanks to Samsung and T-Mobile's bloatware.
There is a way to root this phone, though. Then you can install Link2SD...once configured, all apps and dalvik cache will be directed to the sd card.
I'm at work right now and the filter here will not allow me to post a link to the forum. I'll do that later when I get home.

After 3 replacement Gravity Smart's, I finally am getting away from these garbage phones. It's riddled with problems, and T-Mobile is not doing anything to fix the issues that they have had since the time they designed them.
I have battery issues, Bluetooth connectivity issues, data usage issues, consistently poor signal (I live in a major Metropolitan area).

I bought my first Gravity Q about 6 months ago in February. I bought it because I had previously owned a Samsung T-456 and really liked it! Well it is 6 months later and I am on my THIRD Gravity Q. I have had the phone use way too much battery power, and I have had the screen freeze and not work at all. So far this one seems to be ok, but what happens after the one year is up? This seems to be quite a defective phone! Not really happy with it at all!!!

I got this phone phone for free when i swithched from US cellular to Tmobile, and I have hated this phone ever since. The internal space is low and I barely have any apps on it I went and bought an even bigger memory card and I have the same problem. The keyboard letters get stuck a lot. The stupid phone will even stop sending text messages or I cant make a phone call. I have to take the battery out, let it reload, then I am able to text and make a call. This is the worst phone I have ever had. NO ONE SHOULD EVER BUY THIS PHONE. I see why this was one of there free phones. I will be switching to an Iphone on Tuesday.

I've had this phone for about 2 months and i like it. battery lasts all day even when I'm constantly texting friends, listening to music, and on Facebook.
The camera isn't too bad after being so use to a phone that had 8mp, 3mp is a down grade.
The screen is great i haven't checked to see if I'm right but I think its an OLED screen which is much better than an LCD in my opinion, because you don't have to turn your brightness up all the way for great color and quality, which is a great battery saver.
The only major problem with this phone is the internal storage. When I downloaded draw something, shazam, words with friends, and a weather app, the storage would be too full.
So as long as your not a major gamer and picture quality isn't very important this phone is great for texting, calling, and web!

This phone is cheap, but it's entry level android. pretty much does anything you ask it too, and has low buy-in cost. Decent for the price, lots of features for an entry smart phone, and most carriers won't force a data plan. this phone is great if you're not expecting it to be a $600+ super-phone (think of this as a netbook compared to a gaming laptop, fairly easy to root and play around with.

This phone is garbage. I liked it at first but as soon as the screen went out shortly after I bought it the phone has been a piece of garbage. I would not recommend this to anyone.
