As other opinions verify the battery life is great but the reception is poor - meaning I continually was asking people to repeat what they said. I am now looking for another mobile with better speakers.

Great little cheapie this; bought it specifically for roaming use as I travel a lot. So far, I've been very impressed: The battery lasts me two weeks, even using it most days.
The unit looks and feels much nicer than I expected for the price, and usefully has a sliding dust cover over the only opening in the case, the charger socket. There is even a fun "Jewel Quest" game that was not advertised. The only downside in my opinion, is that the predictive text implementation is not as well thought out as on some other handsets I have used: I find composing texts can be a little frustrating as a result. Finally, it is worth noting that while there is a calendar on board you cannot - as far as I can tell - add entries to it which limits its usefulness and seems a strange omission.
Nonetheless, if you just need a simple phone for voice and occasional text I'd happily recommend this device as an ideal solution.
