The thing samsung has not release anything official yet. Its the samdroid guys who have done all the hardwork to get 2.1 to us. you can safely use it with no issues. i am having lots of new things on that. ODIN and other softwares are for rooting (basically if u know Linux then u know all this stuff, android core is linux). They replace the rom by rooting so ODIn and spica_***.ops file is requires. if you still in doubt ask in Sameer Prabhakar's forum. People from all around the world have gathered in that blog to help out and explore. Do not worry, any problem you can always go back to 1.5 :-)

i have some problem.
i was created patter lock ......my friend try on what happen type wrong pattern after that it show wait 30 second but my friend click on forgot pattern.....then ask m gmail username and password.....but when i type username and password is say wrong.........can anybody tell m how can i come back that pattern or reset mobile

why didn't gsmarena review this phone, i think it is valuable enough to be reviewed specially after the official update to version 2.1 has been confirmed by samsung

can anyone confirm whether you can transfer files such as images or songs from spica to other mobile phones not necessarily android and vice-versa via Bluetooth by upgrading to eclair...
