Anonymous, 03 Dec 2010Hi, I am using spica since from 4 months, now I am seeing ... morePlease use some hot water and wash the phone and the battery. Well and good if you can soke in water overnight. You will see the phone working in the normal speed. This process will not increase the speed but will restore the lost cells and bring back the first experiance..

it won't have multitouch but you can find a multitouch driver over at samdroid.net. you need to root it first though.

Anyone knows about Spica's RAM? Is that bigger than 168 MB on XPERIA X8? And it's that true about register first to use DivX in this phone?

I own one of this phones, in Spain there is only a official android 1.6 release, so you have to update to 2.0 by yourself, and now I hear that the phone lacks a 3d driver for the hardware it carries?
In my experience, it is not a bad phone and it has a decent performance, but it make me feel as if I cannot release its hole potential :-/

Anonymous, 03 Dec 2010Hi, I am using spica since from 4 months, now I am seeing ... moreI got that for a couple of weeks with funny errors popping everytime I rebooted the phone. Was beginning to wonder if I needed to re-flash the OS, Android 2.1. A few days ago, I just decided to deleted all the memory heavy apps and cleared all the cache. Presto, the phone's back to its speedy self again.

To root yoy can use z4root-it's one click root and you can find it on market-read instructions first pls!
Tattoo vs Spica? Tattoo only has more RAM, Spica has faster processor, larger resolution screen, that also is larger in terms of dimensions and it is capacitive-tattoo has resistive. Also you may install 2.2 on spica, wich is curently beta-samdroud and cyanogen version. So my advice is-get Spica!!! ;)
