Ganesh, 18 Jun 2010I faced the same problem it will detect the SD card not the... morecc are dumb if you using android 2.1 than activate usb debuging mode in seting and keis or new pc suit detects the phone works for me

How should I connect my Samsung i5700 Galaxy Spica to the PC, I have windows xp, and I tried both 'New PC Studio' and 'PC Studio 7' but I cant connect it, I even tried different cables, it just starts charging the battery but does not connect..... the memory card connects, but the phone does not show up. ......(I want to connect it so I can update the device to Android v2.1).......thanks

chaitu, 18 Jun 2010For all those friends who are saying we can wait for i5800.... morei doubt the authenticity of the news in that site. It says it has amoled screen which is not true. The introductory price of spica was around 21k and it was smashed down to 13k.

The phone may be around 30k atleast i feel that due to its spects it may not be below 20k.

1.Unable to remove vibrate while unlocking keypad.
2.Disable autolock of keypad.
3.Unable to view contacts list from Message editor.

Hi guys i managed to get handset from Sun times Banglore.it is loaded with 2.1 eclair with 2GB card.It is Awesome phone with Bright display and long sweet Battery life,impressed with battery life getting almost 2 1/2 day with 1.5hrs call every day with 30 minutes of Wifi Usage.

I bought samsung spica from saravana stores, next to RMKV textiles in T.Nagar chennai @ Rs. 11,500/-. Pl approach them and get it. I had also upgrded to software from 1.5 to 2.1 and it is working fine.

How to update the phone to v2.1 officially ?? the samsung website instructs to update it from 'New PC Studio', when I tried to update it, it says that this phone is not supported... pls. help...thanks
