Solution: Create a Dummy APN (Wireless network->Mobile Networks->APN) always connect to that. Whenever you need internet just change that to mobileoffice and start browsing. This is how I'm using, if someone have better idea than this, please help. One question to you, have to sync your mobile to PC (contacts, messages...) ?

How to close the EDGE connection?? I am having an Airtel connection. A symbol like 'E||' appears always at the top right corner near the signal strength icon. Am not sure if it is eating up my prepaid balance.

Pls let me know to close this!!

              Thanks

Deepak David, 01 Jun 2010thanks dude is this app is free of cost?hey ur welcome!!! This app is absolutely free but the only catch is after some specific time trial you cannot browse the secured sites like gmail etc... the tool is damn easy to use. However there are keygens available for this tool too. So you wont have any restrictions at all.

If you are running in linux then the alternative is proxoid which is also free and there is no limitations whatsoever.
