That's for I5700-phones that's locked to some phonecompany, atleast that's the Norwegian Samsung support told me, twice.

In India, can I use the GPS receiver and Google maps alone?
That is, I want it to be able to pinpoint my location, give me routes to destinations and follow my location as I move, without an internet connection.
