Can i use it as modem to surf the internet on my laptop
i heard that it does not connected via pc studio

I just bought a Samsung Spica, Android version 1.5.
I would liek to upgrade to Android 2.1 (eclair).
I have installed the PC studio on my laptop (Windows Vista). The device is not recognised when connected on the USB. Any tips on how I can have the device recognised and connected.

rakesh, 04 May 2010in chennai the cust care says there's a problem with the 2.... morein mumbai also the say the same thing problem with the update the whole world getin the update but not us not fair may be it got to do with reson samsung india has not officialy launched it that why the holding back the update till the launch

Where can I buy the Spica in Chennai?
Why is it that Samsung releases the cheapest Android phone in India, but no shop seems to have it? x(

in chennai the cust care says there's a problem with the 2.1 update . they are working out the problem. anyone in chennai using it with 2.1 eclair

Guys I got it 3 days back,it came with 2.1 eclair update
Since m using it for a while now,I can tel dat it has got
Good battery. Backup, android is so perfect and easy tp use
Dat it surely going to kill symbian,speaker volume is low
But in headset it can b campared to ipod,browser
Is good too,camera sucks to the core,a perfect. Smartphone
At good price, go for it.

Best and cheapest Android 2.1 enabled device available. Though, it lags sometimes. But it fixes the lag quickly. Awesome fone. Awesome apps, all for a cheap rate.

I also belong to Jaipur and searched this phone a lot. I tried even in Delhi but to no avail. Finally I ordered this phone from ebay 2 days back. I should get it in a day or two. So no point in waiting for this phone to arrive in Jaipur. If you want to buy it, I would suggest ordering from Ebay.
