Who cares about a camera? Its A PDA not a camera! I've never heard from any professional photographers that I know that they use thier PDAs to take pictures. 2 different things camera:PDA. People ussually buy PDA for the PDA functions not the Camera. You want a small camera go buy a small camera to take good pictures! The RAZR V3 has a VGA camera, even when it came out that was a bit outdated... Did anyone care! No its like the most popluar phone in the world and people still buy it!

Anyone know when the SDW-823 Micro-SD WiFi card will be released and how much it will cost? The addition of such a product to the market would have an enormous impact and would be a really hot item.

Best Windows Mobile fone ever. When I first got it I was a bit worried about the WM but it seems to work great. No freezes yet. I've had it for a week now and its not the easiest fone to use, not as easy as Palm OS, but its not impossible, like blackberry OS. It Has a nice camera for 2 MP & up-to 4 GB Micro-SD! And about the lack of Wi-Fi; the 3G is quite fast, but a Very Easy and Cheap way to add Wi-Fi is to purchase a Spectec Micro-SD Wi-Fi card for $50 USD and it works with Class-G Wi-FI so you can browse fast! Also the Batt. is good for a PDA and the screen is nice. The Price is amazing at $99.99 USD when you join AT&T!

Its a good phone. Nothing special. Annoying is that when you want to get to Messages, it reflects the last directory you accessed and not a list of Inbox, Sent items etc. Battery seems short for me at 2 days with moderate texting and minor phone calls. Excellent QWERTY tactile keyboard though. I got the burgundy color. Beautiful.

Got this today from Best Buy using AT&T. Awesome burgundy color. Nice keypad layout. Main issue is when you go to Messaging, the unit goes to the last message accessed, whether it be outbox or inbox. Quite tedious to press right soft key for drop-down menus and scrolling. Seems ok so far.

Mary
Try emptying the task list(start, applications, task manager, menu, stop all)? I do this every nite. I am an average user (10-15 calls/2-3 internet searchs, check mail 1-2 per day), battery lasts 3-5 days. this phone is simply unbeatble value.

I need some help. So I just got this phone, but I noticed that the battery life is really low. I would charge it all night and unplug by 7. With minimal usage (one phone call...)throughout the morning, the battery life begins to die out around 3. I know I read the spec and posting that this phone has great battery life, is there something i'm missing or need to set to save the battery life? Or should i think that the battery is defective. Thanks for the help

The blackjack II has the best quality/price relation.
I was very worried for the lack of Wi-Fi, but who needs wi-fi when you have a fully working 3G. The integrated GPS works great with Google Maps and Garmin XT.
I would prefer the 320x320 screen that the i780 has, but the 3G band for the i780 doesn't work in my area.

The Blackjack2 is a great phone -- Aside for all the marketed functionality you can make the phone do alot of other things via hacks and mods -- use GPS with any application, use the phone as a wireless modem for you computer, etc. Checkout myblackjack2.com hacks and mods sections for a nice list.

copy the mp3 file you want to use as the message tone to the system files folder, it will then appear as a selectable file to use as a message tone.

I just "upgraded" from a Blackberry 7130 and I must say, this phone is great. I have used other phones and this phone is by far one of the best I've used...no phone is perfect and just like any phone, it has its faults. I am not a fan of Windows period but this interface is not bad; although it does take a little effort to use. The 3G is a big plus, websites seem to just pop up. The GPS I think only works with TelNav (not paying)...I install google maps and it will not find a satellite. Other than that I think it is nearly perfect. I'd take it over the iPhone any day.
