No. You have the SPH-i700, which is the CDMA version of the Samsung i700. To use GSM, you should use the SGH-i700.

I remember these bad boys... I sold them on Telus back in 2004. Didn't have them in store cuz no one was buying them. they were 1200$ CAD and down to 800$ on a 3y contract. And people complain about iPhone prices... just look at the specs haha!
