I don't know for sure, but on a website that, despite everyone (the first time around) saying it had been cancelled -including GSM Arena- continued to state that it was 'coming soon'. After being like that for almost 8 months, they've finally gien up the ghost and admitted it's cancelled and no longer have plans to sell it. I cannot be 100% sure, but I think this is quite likely -as I said, "Word is,..."

Word is, this fone has been cancelled...for a second time! They started to develop it, cancelled it, tried to revive it and then realised that by April '06 it would be too outdated. They might be selling off some of the prototypes, but I don't think a full-scale production is going to happen now. Hopefully they'll go back to the drawing board and adjust it enough to bring out an improved version.

Samsung, you've lost me to Nokia -you've messed around (with this handset at least) for far too long and now you've missing out on customers.

With the rumour of a WM 5.0 upgrade for the i730, it's possible this handset is being delayed for that same reason -also I seem to recall reading somewhere that it was to get a 16M colour screen?! Having said that, you could delay any phone to upgrade it's features and it would never see release. Samsung sshould have got this on the market with it's original specs soon after its announcement and then followed up with an upgrade...and they'd be around a year apart (about the time when people upgrade), as opposed to announcing a handset, then taking almost two years to release it!

A great feature of this phone is that you can use the IrDA as like a remote controller to adjust electronic devices that receive infrared signals -like your TV or stereo for example!

Cant believe samsung have put a 2mp autofocus camera on this phone which is a business phone and they're still putting crappy 1.3mp cameras on their other phones.

Well, it' rather thick and ugly...besides, WM 03 in 2006, what's going on?...Furthermore, I must say it's the smallest display I've seen on a communicator. But one must admit that this device is equipped with an excellent camera

The i750 has just resurfaced on the FCC's website. So, it looks like it may still be released in the US.

Samsung just presented this phone at the APEC IT exhibition and it's been slightly redesigned.
