Hi am about to purchase this phone, coz am a big fun of samsung phones..i hav seen teh tutorial n i think its a very lovely phone..just a quick question, am not a big fun of touch phones, but i read that i can use teh QWERTY keypad on the phone to enter txt jst as i would write a txt message with a normal phone..is this tru??? pls let me know..thanks in advance

Hello to all! Need help here, my phone CAN NOT connect to my router that has N protocol. The router supports b/g/n. Only my i780 can not connect to it, all other devices at home can connect.
Any tweak or software upgrade? My phone has the standard OS and patches straight from the factory.

i was upgrading my i780 to winmo 6.5 when it hanged in the middle of the process, it shut off by itself, when i turned it on, it doesn't power up!

Hi All
I have had this phone since launch and still loving it. I have had no issues, it has been upgraded to WM6.1.
Do yourselves a favour and compare the specs of this phone to any phone today and it still impresses. The best without a doubt!

extremely awesome phone....load it with SPB mobile Shell 3.5, GarminXT software for the GPS, Emoze/Seven for push e-mail program, Palringo multi messenger and voila!! you got a perfect phone!!!

wlestrade, 04 Nov 2009I am using one unit for three months. This is a good phone ... moreWlestrade, its quite obvious that most phones are not built to be perfect. There no bloody phone that is perfect that matches all our needs without any flaws.
Most touchscreen phones have the problem of bad lighting and they can't be seen under direct sunlight duh! In comparison to many other WM phone out there the i780 stands out for few things.
1. its got a 624Mhz processor which is great for the it was released in the market.
2. comes with a touchpad and can be used as dpad, most phone then never had this option. (today if you notice the E73 and few other phone are using the same technology.)
3. Got some great features not the best in the class but, sure meets a business person's need for the hour.
Most of us agree that the maker of the i780 could have come up with some better specs. Considering they didn't we need to check and help the company by giving feedbacks. The phone has some flaws but, end of the day its what I or you need that you feel the i780 will fill the gap in doing so.
