Plz does this fone allow for viewing of TV channels & can it carry 2 sims. These two is important to me. If not can someone recomend another.

Excellent smartphone!
I've been using it for 7 months already, and it fulfills almost all my needs:
Pros:
-Lightweight, fast, stable, good construction (nowobbling, squeaking like Nseries Nokias),exquisite music player-on par with N91, very good reception and phone quality, QWERTY, great messenger, WM6 is highly customizable, etc
Average things:
-Average camera for daytime conditions, but rather poor when not enough light
-Baterry lasts around 2 days with moderate usage
Cons:
-Display has a very poor sunlight legibility, it's hard to use it outdoors on a sunny day, you have to find a shade or a proper angle to work with it (for indors usage is totally OK)
-loudspeaker for ringtones is below average quality
Overall I give it 8 out of 10, so far I don't see a device to replace I780 on the market

1. is it possible to upgrade i780 to winmo 6.1
2. how can i resume default screen settings without loosing my data/name base
3. where can i get themes for i780

such a pity that samsung doesnt produce phones like this anymore. all they are producing are stupid touch screen only phones. what about those who really love qwerty and a touch screen? come on samsung. do something awesome and prove us wrong and sweep us off our feets with awesome design and performances!

This is a great gadget..not only phone, but this all what you need in your hand.. With the mousepad feature, now may gadget will follow in near future..:).. Vote for Mirage aka Samsung i780..

Its much lighter than the E 71 (my second choice), missing only the FM radio and making that up by having a touch screen and mouse pad. Go for it!
