If it covers your country i recommend Igo8 software. Very fast, finds satellites in 20 secs without gps in the open and has a better guidance then Garmin. Try it:) Regards!

Dear All,
Would you mind to share some opinion which mapping software is suitable for i780? because when i try to download Garmin software yesterday, the layout screen of the program seems being cut off. Any feedback regarding this is appreciateable.... Thanks

I love this phone! What convinced me to buy this was the "touchpad", it's awesome that I rarely use the touchscreen. I often forget that this came with a stylus.
More power to Samsung!

I love this phone! the touchpad was great... it makes navigation within the menu very easy..! Best phone if you compared the value and performance..

Latest Software Version dated 2009/01/13 as follows: I780PJCHM_HL1 = WM 6.1 Pro with all the benefits.Fixes Bluetooth Auto Answer Problem as well.

I am using i780 around eight month and I was waiting for a firmware update wm6.1 till now,
Stupid Samsung manufacturer are release one update many day later ,but version not accept their site, only three countries choose, before I see their update is always problem not friendly their any update , Samsung never can give us support as like as HTC and other Brands, so don’t buy Samsung windows mobile again.

To everyone who commented on GPS: THANK YOU VERY MUCH! ^_^
but no one answered on what is the best gps software to use for i780. I tried to load Mapking R12 since it has Manila map however, the application is not compatible with a 320x320 screen.
I hope someone can give insights.
