Samsung I8330 to be Vodafone’s third LiMo device, the 360 H2
As it seems, Vodafone are pleased with the their partnership with Samsung for the production of their 360 devices. The South Korean company has been chosen to make the operator's third Limo-running phone - the Vodafone 360 H2 (a.k.a. Samsung I8330).
Two weeks ago, when we first heard of the Samsung I8330 we didn't even have an image of the phone so we didn't know what to expect. The only thing we knew for sure was that it will feature Wi-Fi 802.11n support. But now most of the specs sheet has been revealed.
Vodafone 360 H2 a.k.a. Samsung I8330
The I8330 will actually be Vodafone's next 360 phone, the H2, and will run the operator's own customized version of the LiMo (short for Linux Mobile) OS . Rumor has it that the 360 H2 will pack a Super AMOLED touchscreen of WVGA resolution (480 x 800 pixels) as well as an 8MP camera with LED flash and Full HD video recording.
Apart from Wi-Fi 802.11n support, the LiMo-based device will also offer support for Bluetooth and HSDPA and will come with an GPS receiver on board. The 360 H2 is expected to be powered by a zippy 1GHz processor (according to our source that will be Qualcomm's MSM6290 CPU).
The Samsung-made Vodafone 360 H2 should be launched before the start of the 2010 FIFA World Cup (11 June - 11 July). There is no word on pricing yet.

No! I have a 360 on prepay in the UK, happy with it but would NEVER take out a cellphone contract with a Vodafone using the 360 system, until perfected. Personally, I think Voda will drop this phone before it is released as even Voda workers pri...
