Is it true? samsung are dropping it and are already working on Beam 2.
I just don't believe it, after waiting all this time, there's going to be a lot of disapointed people out there.
Tell me it's just a rumer.

Canopus, 28 Sep 2010I've been submitted to not buy this,because it is not avail... morei have i8910. video's and foto's are in very good quality. the sound is greate. no handy has such a full power loudness (without headset)
the handy looks very nobel and is very sturdily.
the accumulator must be loaded every 4-5 days.
maybe the life of my i8910 will ending, when i test the nokia n8 and the i8520....but first, they must be better.
after the last comparison, samsung wave,
i sold the wave, like many different handys befor.

So here it comes, end of life for symbian when it comes to samsung. So obvious and sad, somebody said that we shouldn't buy any smasung phones ever again and you know what I agree! Same story when it comes to beam. No support what so ever. I really hate samsung and se for that. Before you buy - think or you will regret like me.

gud day guys,i just brought samsung galaxy beam a month ago,the phone function well,but the problem is that the package doesn't include software installer kit(cd included like in other samsung phone package),the downloadable SAMSUNG KIES at the www.samsungapps.com doesn't support galaxy beam,anyone who can help me deal this inquiry?...thanks..

i got the info for galaxy beam 2 in samsung community EUROPE, it released worldwide. beam2 it has dual core processor,4.5"LCD,gorilliaz glass resistive,12.1MP xenon flash with red light,

OMG Samsung!!! - How can you drop this beast of a phone? I was waiting for this to show up in Europe, but now I hear that it's not comming and it's not even getting Froyo 2.2. This put's me off getting a Galaxy S, because even though it might be getting 2.2, I bet Samsung will not deem it neccecary to upgrade it further. Maybe I should go back to Nokia - even though their software is lagging a bit, at least it does get updated now and then...

Samsung announced they are dropping the international release of the phone to other countries and also no longer going to develop android 2.2 for this phone.. 2.2 is what i was hoping for from this phone.
dropped due to lack of interest.. which i believe is caused due to lack of marketing.
wanted this phone so bad but not worth the money if no 2.2.. hopefully someone comes up with a custom 2.2 with full flash. thanks to the people for the overclocking, it made the phone great again but 2.2 is needed

The projector is satisfactory quality for a small pico. You are able to project about 50inch screen to a wall about 8 metres away and have poor-OK quality image. The fact they managed to fit a projector in a decent size phone is a big achievement, unlike the LG phone with addon pico.

I think because of UTMS 2100 this phone support;it is launched to those countries which support UTMS 2100;Singapore is one of those countries which has this band

I just got Samsung Beam yesterday. The speed is a little bit lag when you run 4-5 applications. The AMOLED screen is vivid, easy to read under direct sunlight. The best part is projector. I can watch my favorite movies on celling. The brightness and color are good (more than I expected). I'm totally satisfied with Samsung Beam!

is the video recording f I8910 Omnia HD acceptable without any updating & upgrading?
Does it annoy when recording?(like lack of sound volume or delay)?
