Anonymous, 25 Feb 2010my i8910 omnia hd will eat this phone alive right now, even... moreHow would your omnia hd even come close. dont get me wrong the omnia hd is my favorite phone but this phone surpasses it. 200mhz faster, higher res, slightly brighter, more ram than any phone, projecter, 720p at 30 frames, and only 2mm thicker, oh and longer battery life. so how? and whats this new htc and whats makes you think its gonna be so much better?

my i8910 omnia hd will eat this phone alive right now, even the numbering is higher, and by the time this phone releases in summer, it will be thrown to shreds by HTC HD3

almost perfect.....
but why samsung not make it perfect?? omg....
all i can see just the ram and processor is weaker than samsung wave....
oh c'mon samsung.. make BEAM processor like samsung WAVE pleaseeeeee....
my dream smartphone.. and be my next smartphone if the processor like WAVE

a cell phone with a dlp projector and a android os to top it all 720p video with 8 megapixel still is a good thing .way to go samsung i do hope the prices will not go north and am eagerly waiting for its launch

I Like the Phone looks great. But why is so much bigger than HTC Nexus or Desire??? Why should buy this when HTC phone same and more Slim and smaller?

Samsung ... moreWith last firmware upgrades (HX Custom 2.02 main is best) Omnia HD have GREAT perfomance, battery life, but... not yet multitouch... Possible with NEW SYMBIAN 3, multitouch will be added :)
i8520 is definetly better phone from Omnia HD, but... Symbian is HIGH popular OS... and MANY apps work with Omnia HD
Open GL games (Quake 1,2,3 and many more)
GPS navigation apps (like Garmin etc...)
Office apps
More tools etc...
Android is better os from Symbian S60v5, but... NEW Symbian 3 is better frp, Android 2.1 and Symbian 3 is compatibile with older phones (like Omnia HD) and if you make upgrade to NEW OS, you have a better and too speedest and modern phone :)

I noticed it multi-touch input meaning you can
pinch it to zoom like in iphone.. is it because
of the Android use which has multi-touch
capability compared to Symbian 60V5 which has
none?
Anyway.. in the symbian.. can't they just import
Multi-touch input to it?

this is truly a very nice phone...
i am using the N900 Nokia. always been a Nokia user but this phone has ggr8 specs and i am thinking of getting one.
so tell me guys i never ued samsung before, although i know Samsung is a gr8 company and has gr8 products... are samsumg phones durable? i mean i wont sell my nokia N900 but its nice to have a samsung aside it ;)
is this a high end phone in Samsung?
