Actually u can copy, cut and paste with Y-Browser, u just cant copy entire folder like active file can. Y-Browser is simplier if u r trying to copy a single file

I just saw your post today.. I read it somewhre and symbios also confirmed that he knows it.. What you do is you Switch off the phone and then you switch it on with all the three front keys pressed.. It is said to format only your phon memory.. But no one has done this before..
Kastor effects are cool effects which definetly looks great on your phone (i have it right now)..
But you need to have your phone hacked..
About firmware, i am simply waiting for the global update from samsung, because flashing of new firmware voids warranty in my country..
The latest is XXII2 firmware which symbios has..
Pc studio says so because you dont have any updates for your region..

And buddy that 256mb is the amount of ram... what u mentioned about is the phone memory which is a different thing... the phone memory(c) of this device has about 40mb of free memory

I have 2 of them on my camera both on the view finder and video shots...they apear only in the dark or lets say very low light condition indoor...
Sadly nearly all i8910s have some of those hot pixels on their cam sensors...and yet nobody knows what the f they realy are...
I did a search on the net when i noticed i have some on my fon...some say while producing of the both types CCD and CMOS sensors some sand or dust would get through the sensor's layers during the procedure causing this issue...So thats a hardware issue and i dont believe a software update would help...
BTW, they wont be apeared on still images(image processor correcting them)
Also while zooming they change their places(linearly) and their sizes...

i am going to buy omnia hd very soon, but when i went through many forums and posts I found some people complaining of the bluetooth file transfer files which gets saved in the internal RAM, we canot change the destination folder to the memory card or to internal 8/16 gb. I mean to say If i would like to transfer a file for example of 512 mb via bluetooth ...so wether i can or not since internal RAM is 256 mb ..or i can change some settings so that it gets saved directly on internal memory.
Plz any samsung user help me out in this

And you're so right that the decision is tough. Well you know what the main reason i tend to opt for hd2 more is that i owned 5800 xm for 4 months but i just hated the phone for ugly looking ui! And i've been buying symbian for 6 years from now starting with 6600 and now with e75. Though i feel at home but i find it m
onotonous. But sohd is way more covered by touchwiz and has a lot of things like cover flow and divx and others.
But htc hd2 just looks so cool when i played with it and the set is really fast; but sohd seems to lag mainly in gallery and i see that most of the time you guys are talking about flashing and applying patch on the phone; well i'm not that much good at tinkering with these stuff and it just seems too much for me to flash a thing everyday to make it better. Arises a question in my mind then why the hell did i pay samsung money for?
And htc hd2 seems to be well supported by xda devs. And the build quality is just superb.
And you know the thing about symbian being dropped by everyone, and hd2 getting win7 upgrade just makes the decision even tougher in between these two.
Well i browse and write a lot in net and i always listen to music. Sohd is great for music but for net hd2 is great.
Sorry for wasting your time with my blabbering. You can easily understand from my writings that i'm still so confused even though i must buy a set in the first week of feb. Just wish me luck that which ever phone i buy, i may stick to it for 1 whole year without hesitation or hassle.

You cannot open C:/resource through pc studio..
For opening that, hack your phone and then go to ROMpatcher and apply open4all pach.. this will allow Y-browser to open the system files, only then can you use kastor effects..U cannot access it through pc studio..
And uptil what i know you cannot copy and paste through Y-browser, you need Activefile..

The choice is tough no doubt but it fairly depend upon your use.. if you want more multimedia based phones then go for omnia hd otherwise for more net based use go for htc hd2.. i would prefer omnia hd in any case, but thats not what implies you.. Choose what suits you the best..

One thing that has bugging me for a long time is that; whenever i try to search ''top 10 smart phones'' i never find omnia hd there; but the stupid n97 sits in top 5. Wtf?
There must be some serious problem in the reviewers' head or may be something wrong with this set???
Sorry guys for asking you these stupid questions but can you please let me decide in between htc hd2 and omnia hd??? Cause i've been researching for 1 month but i still can't decide among these two. Even though the price difference is almost 170$ in between these two but i still can't make my mind up.
Omnia hd has all the things i need but i still seem to fall for htc hd2. Hd2 just seems to be ain a class of its own and looks way more seductive with sence ui!
Sorry if i offend any of you, but this questions have been bugging me for almost a month! And i want a way out of it.
