Hey guys, some answers:
I think Gingerbread update is not avail and not gonna be specifily for that phone because buyers of that piece don't expect that. But you can update with the instructions of i9000 -same things.
Battery life is not so good, but it doesn't mean that you can carry one small piece with you when you need other battery! That's the solution. :)

this is a very lovely phone. No need for ipad or galaxy tab if u have it, the only drawback i av noticed so far is the batery life which is very poor. Honestly speaking, i am buying another one for keeps, cos i love this fone so much. It does everything for me on the go!

i have this phone and it isnt worth buying. it freezes and messes up alot ive had it for 2 Months and had to reset it 7 times already.
