i,ve read on avrious web sites that this is a "dual sim" phone. Can anyone confirm this please or is it simply a "dual mode" handset

this is only for china market. i chose this phone bec i had signed up for "special package" offered by china telecom.
good - extra battery, flash, microsd card slot, super awesome screen, plus other super features
bad - no way to sync with mac.

I don't think this handset is as good as the I8910 (omnia HD), this is mainly because it's running Android and if you have an Apple Macbook there is no way you can sync your phone to your laptop or PC, unless you install VMawre Fusion, Windows and only then can you install the software which you need, as long as you are in windows. Where as with the Omnia HD you can sync your phone with you Macbook via Bluetooth. Even when you download the software and install it still isn't as easy as drag and drop, I only got this phone five days ago and am wondering why I even got it in the first place, sorry Samsung but I think you have got it wrong with this one

With Anycall's decision to put both radios into the phone, it made it about 1mm thicker. I don't think that it's an equal trade-off, as one doesn't really need both radios simultaneously....no need for a universal phone as each carrier in the US has different radios accordingly to their network.

b, 17 Aug 2010so this is the US version right?It clearly says "Chinese market" not US. So this a Galaxy S with both GSM and CDMA support, kinda cool. Too bad for 3G it only has HSDPA 2100, so it won't support any North American 3G HSDPA networks. But it will work on CDMA2000, I guess it might work with Verizon's 3G.

This phone 1909 sgs its good and supper to 1900sgs; has flash lite and its ock for webbrowser thank u sumsung for rectifying by adding flash lite to this phone; i am asking when it will be available in Tanzania? i like this phone and its document editor.
