Ics firm &... morebut many gt-i9100g user have experienced this problem . u can try put your phone under direct sunlight for 5 min without touch or press power and unlock button . then after that try to wake up your phone . it will have a delay . and i also heard that only iran ics firmware didnt have this problem . what firmware did u use ?

Dude.. I always used my s2g in auto brightness.. Ics firm &also used in bright sunlight... But my phone dint hang for once since ics update 9 month ago..

The Galaxy S2 specs says its OS is Android v2. But i bought a new phone couple of days back, box packed, and it has Android v4 in it.. Is this phone referbished or repacked after updating or what could be the reason? Thanks in advance.

Does anybody knows Galaxy S II I9100G will receive Jelly Bean update or not? At first Samsung said that G version will not receive Ice-Cream Sandwich update but later got it. Now GSMArena says that Galaxy S II will receive Jelly Bean update. Can anyone specify it is I9100G or I9100 or both ?

I have been using Samsung I9100G Galaxy S II for 10months & very satisfied. I've upgraded the software to Ice Cream Sandwich and it only heats when I charge or play HD games. Other than tat, it's a great smartphone... Proud to own it! For those who complaining, buy smartphones from Samsung dealers in future....

Why u guys always complaining on SAMSUNG? See other manufacturer, do they upgrade their 2011 phone to android jellybean? Eventhough samsung roll out its update slow but we can taste the jellybean... Most of samsung firmware & its feautures are better than other manufacturer.. like the nexus, google release its upgrade fast but then its buggy... its u need newer android just buy a new phone.. if dont have money just be grateful of what samsung have given us..

This model has proved to me that SAMSUNG as a company that they have collected their money by cheating costumers, I never had as bad experienced as using this version of S2.
I will never buy Samsung even if they sell free of charge, My previous phones are Imate, windows mobile.
I know that they have succeeded in other version but this version I consider they have stolen my money.
I lost my contacts, my photos and many data.
No upgrade to newer version of Android.
No available application on Samsung shop.
I cannot benefit from many features.
