Can you tell me how to set up write sms on... moreTo set phone language to chinese just choose Settting - Language and Keyboard - Select Language.
As for typing in Chinese you can either choose DioPen Chinese by touch & hold on empty SMS Text box on the screen - Input method then choose pinyin.
Or using Swype you can simply touch & hold on the language key with a globe & EN in the Swype keyboard then you can set the desire language by tick on the selection, once done you can switch between language by touch the language key eg EN = English, CN = Chinese.

U can get ics on device by simply making manual update from setting.

I have owned the phone since June 2012. It's my first Android phone and a big disappointment to me. I wish Nokia develops more powerful modern phones (viz my old E61i)- I will go for them! Everyday more than four times, the Galaxy hangs/freezes/overheats; battery life is awful - recharging at least twice a day is a must. I feel like throwing it away at times. Was this a manufacturing fault? What does Samsung say? Even after upgrade from 2.3.4 to 2.3.6, the problem persists. How can you help? Why does Samsung not help its clients? I am on Airtel Kenya, a very stable network.

Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II and Samsung I9100G Galaxy S II. Specifications are similar but Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II better than Samsung I9100G Galaxy S II. This feelings when you use both models. I have used both of them so this is my opinion...
If someone has another opinion or advice that can help in improving Samsung I9100G Galaxy S II please write...

For better battery life :
turn on default system power saving. your S2 dual core max will decrease from 1.2Ghz to 1Ghz. Brightness decrease to 10% and UI speed will decrease too...
Use task manager to kill unused application for better free RAM available. (around 300 - 400MB free of 687MB )
