is ICS update available now in Saudi Arabia. Pls advise... need to fix the camera app in my phone as it always hang-up. thanks guys for your reply

hey what you know about samsung...?
AMOLED diplay is top level of clarity,and hd.S2 is also best.no hanging,no charge prolbems.I9100g may get some temporary problems.update to ICS you will never face any problems.
What is the advantage of nokia lumia 800...?

No ics till now on my sgs2g its my first time i buy samsung hand set.and nowits also my last.samsung produces many more.hand sets eith one name.still no ics.its just piece of junk

Iam using samsung s2 i dont like this phone nokia lumia 800 better than samsung low battery back up daily 2 times i can chrging this phone. Every time i can unlock key pad the phone will hanging (i am checked all s2 phone the same complaint showing) then iam all manually ending all running apps.that time phone showing smooth running.the display clarity to bad its every time showing a green colour highly i checked samsung all amolded displays all models showing like this. Net work covering to low. Lumia 800 display amazing.s2 is to bad its my openeon thanks.

so what do you think will happen if you have less ram? your phone will become slow and laggy?
no. that is wrong. i dont want you to mislead other people.
its true ICS uses more ram,but this phone provides 1 gig of ram, you have plenty of ram left.
android management of ram is very efficient,it uses free unused ram to cache apps so that next time you click on it those apps start faster.
android is clever enough to not use all free ram till it reach zero.it will always leave 100-200MB as unused.
when needed, android will close certain app in cache according to priority,eg keep the telephony,sms but close the game app in cache.
if the phone is sluggish, that is because of bug & bloat ware in samsung stock rom. try use clean android rom such cyanogenmod. u'll be surprised by speed &smoothness.
stop counting how much free ram left. android knows what it is doing.

If the update is available OTA then just upgrade over the air. If not flash download the G version of ICS from the net and flash via Odin. I did that but have switched back to Gingerbread as the ICS Rom is memory heavy and leaves you with less RAM. I have a S2G version too and it rocks. Forget all the negative comments out there. The S2 i9100G is an awesome phone, period. There is already a jelly bean ROM for the phone, see Xda Developers thread though certain features dont work properly. You might want to wait for a more stable JB version and download and flash that instead of ICS.

hey guys :))
i was planning on getting a samsung s advance but after reading some of ur replies i noticed many of them saying that this device is more expensive than the S2 which is not true (i've compared the prices on this site)
besides there r like 5 brands of S2 so can u plz tell me if i'm making the right choice by getting an s advance? if not which s2 to buy?( i know s2 is way better than the advance but many say it's a waste of money)

Hi everyone . I dont know what wrong about my camera .before taking a picture , there is a visible line before takin the picture. It is not that clear . but sometimes it is okay . It is because the lightning or what ? Anyone experience the same thing? Should i go back and change other phone ? I wanna post the picture of it but i couldnt lol . Someone reponse me if u experience the same thng .

the reason i bought galaxy s2 i9100g is that i have heard that it is works better than i phone.. n it has everything ifone has and it has.. but few reasons that i regret y i bought this fone.. i would have bought ifone 4g...
one biggest issue with my galaxy. s2 is it has very poor skype calling or any other video call...
and video calling is my basic need...
can any1 please help me with this what shud i doo??? i realy need to have video call like ifone... galaxy has realy blurry video chat

I have been using I9100g for the past 4 months and now I found that when I try to play a video from metacafe.com or from dailymotion.com the browser just shuts down without playing the video. If any body has a solution please help me.
