At first I was shocked with the bogs of I9100G, almost regretting of my purchase. In fact it turn out to be much less satisfactory than its counterpart I9100 but after changing the firmware and upgrading OS to android 4 it got somehow bearable. I don't understand why there should be so difference between I9100 and I9100G.
Now I'm just getting used to it. The back office people say it's rare to happen such cases but in all I recommend not to by I9100G. It has a weaker CPU and GPU and some bugs that isn't eliminated even by upgrading its components.

Hi guys I would like to know the difference between android 2.3.4 and 2.3.7 as i want to update to 2.3.7. Please tell me the advantages and disadvantages of both. Thanks

Very good phone running smooth with ICS 4.0.3.
It does not overheat as is with i9100.
Go get it!!!

bought this phone a week ago from India....running too good with preloaded ICS 4.0.3.

the easiest is download the ics firmware from sammobile website and flash with odin.

need to register(free) before can download.

anyway if u still insist using gingerbread here is a link to superatmos, a rooted kernel for gingerbread:

superatmos v3.2 and below can flash with odin.
one more thing, everything needed is there at xda forum. just search for it.

I hve try root with odin.that's time I can't find the kernals tar file.I download kernals but its not a tar file.its name zimage.so I clck the pda and try to select that file.but can't.because its not a tar file I think.plz send me kernal TAR files link.not zip file.direct tar files link.big help bro
