Is the i9100 better or i9100G better??? The nly difference is their chipset n gpu... i9100 has exynos chipset wid mali 400 gpu while thz one has TIOMAP 4430 wid power vr SG*540 gpu... Which one is better amongs these???

Everone, especially in South Africa, please be VERY afraid buying a S2 because the PC Suite available for sync with your PC, is called "KIES" which is a TOTAL failure. It is HARD to understand how a company like SAMSUNG's Q&A Dept can allow such a POORLY TESTED PROGRAM onto the market to support the "so called TOP OF THE RANGE handset". Our IT Dept spend virtually a day-and-a-half to assist me connecting via cable to sync, WITHOUT SUCCESS. My handset is only a dressed-up doorstopper at this moment-in-time! Even their Service Center admitted to me that they are aware of the problem and cannot offer me "ANY ASSISTANCE" and can they send me a questionaire to complete about my experience! You can imagine what Ihad told them what to do with that!! You have beenWARNED

Just bought the phone in 21-03-2012, yesterday (11-05-12), the phone dead, not even 3 month :(, it hang while play game, force shutdown, cant turn it on, today (12-05-2012), sent it to service center, facing the same problems like others, especially the phone camera, its always freezes after taking picture, battery also very fast dried, contact ringtone sometime not follow the tone i have set, very frustrating with my first android phone, now go back using my old but reliable symbian phone N8 while waiting the S2 back from service center...

i bought gt i9100g 3 months ago ,and i had the music problem .i really fight to solve it but there isn't any benfit.
two weeks ago i update my phone with odin and i download the new firmware from this site sammobile.com/firmware.
the mobile combletly changed ,there is no camira or music problem
i use a cpu counter ,i surprised when my processor worked with it's full power 1.2 gh .
and i prove that with downloading a game which cauldn't work before the game is asphalt 6 .it now work on my device.
the only problem with my device is the ice cream sandwich

I was so fed up with the phone that I returned it to the dealer within the DOA period and waited for a month and got the non G version.

it's a night mare. always hang. when you speak with viber use charge it's hang. when you are playing defender an sms make your phone hang. when you want to take a picture in sunny lights it's going hang.some time he like hang with out any reason. bad battery indicator, bad display time, bad dimension for handling & ...... .
ok if you like to lose your money bay it.

Hi..I m using S2G..2.3.6...Hard Reset ur HP before U start using the HP...everything will work fine....no freeze with Wifi or camera ( multiple shorts )

I have galaxy S2 I9100G for past 2 months and it is free from issue, no hang problem, games plays like i am playing in pc. No problem with my galaxy S2 i9100G.

Am really suffering with this I9100G. Just upgraded the software to XWLC2. New probem ... Phone is going to sleep mode if not used for 1 hr approx. Even if call comes it is not waking up. The caller can hear ringing but the phone is not. Once you press the power button it wakes up and starts ringing ...
Does anyone know, how to fix this ?
