Today i have bought a Samsung Galaxy S2 Model no. GT-I9100. My question is, is this a G version or non G version? Because there is nothing written about I9100G. The model no written in my phone(under the battery) is also GT-I9100. Can any body tell me, that how could i check my mobile is G version or non G version?

hey guys...
if u r facing music player hang problem then der is a way to get rid of it...
nt permanently but u can do it before listning to music everytime via headphones...
all u need to do is just clear the ram of the phone before connecting earphones and start listning to music...do it everytime u connect earphones..
i too was facing same problem before but when i started doing this i never faced music player hang problem since last 1 month...
love my s2G..

angad, 17 Apr 2012hey guys angad dis side can any one tell me hw to update so... morebro u can either check for updates directly in fone in settings about fone software update using wifi or 3G network...or the best method is to install kies on your computer and connect ur fone to computer using usb and check for updates there..
But plz read the instructions for update carefully in kies like backup and all...

nik, 18 Apr 2012ya bro i agree its not good 2 hear...but i hav a non G vers... moreya bro this is generally limited to prevent spam i guess...i think ull hav 2 try some other group sms app like go sms or handcent sms from market to solve this problem...didnt notice this thing till now because i dont sent 10+ msg generally but it is needed at times.

i buy this phone 2 weeks ago. really interesting. few problem because of don't know how to use. just hang once when i use internet. battery was awesome. can lasts more than 2 days just for call, sms, and few surfing + gaming. overall this phone was awesome. can't wait for the ics update.

AnonD-50341, 17 Apr 2012dear i uninstall and reinstall many time.i hv new opera min... moreya its possible bro actually i m using opera mobile instead of mini...it works fine..maybe u can try some other browsers..till the problem is fixed in some update by opera mini..
Regarding battery u can use data enabler widget to switch off internet when not in use...Similarly keep the brightness low and other power saving mode settings...
But keeping the internet off when not in use saves the battery drastically...hope it helps...
mine S2 is able to run a day comfortably..i m mostly internet user..not a very heavy user..
Regarding apps there are some great apps in samsung apps to check out...
If u are updating your phone after rooting using ROMs from the internet then its dangerous as it may brick your phone if not done properly plus you loose your warranty.
But updating the phone using Kies is the best and safest....samsung will surely give ICS update for our phone soon...lets keep waiting...
and i think the recent update WLC2 is great and removes a lot of issues.

Regarding games try the games available on samsung store for free best games i have are dead space, air attack (from samsung store),sprinkle, ninja chicken, uno etc.. nice time pass games....
But dead space and Air attack for free from samsung store are must have....
