I looked long and hard for a ... moreNo doubt Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 is a great phone, fast response, nice and clear photo and video captured and playback, but the latest model I9100G (please note, this is G model) always hang, not only i'm having the problem but also a lot of users having the same problem (don't believe me, please scroll down and read all the comments and complaint from other users), if the phone hardware and chipset is causing the problem, i doubt the new coming android OS ICS can solve the hang problem. Samsung, you had built a great phone S2 I9100 in the year 2011, i hope the 9100G will not spoil all the hardwork, please fix the I9100G problem.

Absolutely fantastic. 10/10. I looked long and hard for a leading smartphone (iphone 4s, Sony's Ray and Arc and the S version, HTCs and the Droids) and this kept coming out top on all the Youtube and phone website reviews. The speed is excellent and unflappable no matter how many things are open, downloading, synching. The resolution is fantastic: crisp, bright, fast and responsive screen. The keyboard is both Qwerty and 1-9 traditional and is very intuitive and easy to correct autocorrect (unlike an iPhone). The apps are endless, of course, but the functionality as standard is great - Samsung have thought this through and added integration to email, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, all sorts and their own hub containing apps and add ons. It synchs seamlessly to a PC via Kies Air (wired or wireless). It is SO light and surprisingly easy to hold and pocket, given how it is a few mm taller and wider than most. The camera and video are very good, with geotagging etc. Plus it links easily to my TV so I am happy as a pig in S**T :D

hi guys,,, anyone can help me my samsung s2 was suffered fast battery drain in 1 day,anyone can give me a alternative ways to minimize battery comsumption,im only using for net surfing and very minimal games using...pls,,share some ideas...thanks

im having poor battery timing my galaxy s2 19100g cnt last more than a day and if i use wifi it lasts only for half day is everyone experiencing this problem

The phone of the year is the SGSII i9100 international(EXYNOS). What this is , is just a phone that has been watered down to make it affordable (Asia only) and just happens to use the SGSII look to fool people into thinking it's a different phone (Marketing)

The PowerVR 540 CPU is around 50% speed of the Exynos GPU. Since it uses a totally different platform to the international i9100 there will be little to no dev support for this device much like the SGS 9003 SL (only a FEW stock modded roms after months and no ASOP/CM7/MIUI roms)

That was benchmarked a DAY after WMC 2011 on Feb 14 when the Exynos SGSII was a demo pre production model with little to no drive optimization. If you want the latest benchmarks the SGSII Exynos blows everything away and currently is the FASTEST GPU/CPU combo on for ANY Android device. Also the SGSII Exynos is fps locked to 60FPS

Guys, You need to remember this is NOT the SGSII 9100 International, It uses a totally different chipset (TI OMAP4430) Which means there's little support for roms or even devs. Much like the SGS 9003 SL this is the budget model for developing countries(Little to no dev either). So make sure you know what you are getting yourself into and don't expect this to be the 2011 phone of the year (SGSII Exynos). This is just a watered down device that just looks like the SGSII made for certain Asian markets (To be affordable)

I've owned this phone for two weeks now, aside from Flash crashing on YouTube videos, I'm very satisfied with the phone. Photo and video quality are impressive and it's no slouch in terms of performance. I've went through the comments and Flash crashing on YT videos is not uncommon.
It still has the same processor as the GT-I9100 but the G model has a different GPU which is less powerful than the ARM Mali in the 9100 but still offers decent 3D performance. I really hope the Flash bug will be rectified in the ICS update.
