GUYS! don't ever buy i9100G, or fool you saying its better! believe me its not! and if they told you it doesnt have the heat issue and i9100 does,dont lestn,because its fixed in 2.3.5 firmware, i tried this phone and it sucks,it has many issues with browsing ..etc
also,there is no custom roms for this one, and it so so slow and laggy compared to i9100,
check your back of your phone box they should have write i9100 ir i9100G

SGS2 is over-rated IMO after 6mths of ownership. Too thin for handling (no screen edges - causes errors), on-off switch opposite vol control (hard to activate one side only), camera hard to hold clear of lens, faulty Tasks sync app syncs Task reminders at GMT not local time (Samsung in denial!). I'm changing to HTC or Motorola!

Is it true, if update OS to 2.3.5 the over heating and power draining problem in i9100 will be solved ? how about the performance wise ? still the same ?

G means GPU difference but I9100G is lower than I9100 because of that Battery consumptions is better and heat issue minimized but not completely finished.
