I am a music lover.I want huge bass.does this phone help me in this?i know Sony Ericsson is better in music.but that era ended and can not wait for new Xperia series.so somebody help me.any other suggestions welcomed.

yusi, 02 Feb 2012has anyone tried using the OTG cable on the stock ROM? does... moreHi...yes it does work, after u connected the USB connector to ur galaxy R with the USB flashdisk, go to settings then click wireless and network, then go to tethering and click USB tethering. after that press back til normal standby, then go to apllication, click my files...then search USB external and click it. thats it...

Hello all the geeks out there....I have researched extensively on this Galaxy R and i am very much impressed by the Phone, but still am in a fix between Optimus 2X and Galaxy R. Please help my tension resolve and help me choose the best one. I noted LG outdoes Galaxy R in terms of Camera quality but Galaxy R outperforms 2X in terms of Hardware specs. Please tell me which one should I go for. I am buying eitehr of this phone this Saturday. Hence please help...

has anyone tried using the OTG cable on the stock ROM? does it work...can i connect a female usb coupler to the data cable we get with the phone and use it as a OTG cable? i tried it but does not work...do i need to root the phone for it to work?

if galaxy r was to be discontinued samsung would never have announced the icecream sandwich 4.0 upgrade for galaxy r which only three privileged handsets are given -s2 , galaxy note and of coarse galaxy r

GUD NEWS: ICE CREAM SANDWICH 4.0 UPGRADE compatible WITH GALAXY R ,S2 and GALAXY NOTE only- samsung announced recently ...I wonder thats why I was hunting for this phone on every online shop and it has run out of stock.. may be price would go higher and sellers are saving their stock..still searching for the best deal :(

And I love it ! no problems till now
running 2.3.6
And if you turn off 3G or H+ when you don´t need it , the battery life is about 4 days !!!

It is really good.. Great phone, Just 1 month. My cousin & fiend also brought. Really good value for money. I am slighly worried by the negative review like black out issue. Also i heard it syopped production. Pls share.

yesterday i bought galaxy r and its a amazing phn , screen size is gud, i checked few retailers , few said now set is not coming in the market but it's a false news ...these type of things only those people r saying who don't have the stock..awesome phn

today i talked to samsung customer care,they told me galaxy r is not discontinued,still avilable in market.
