m using this phone past 45 days and its just awesome,it very much responsive,it has tegra 2 inside. it stands tall in 10 gaming phones(not tabs) dual core with 1ghz,no bugs so far using stock rom,camera is just awesome and led light is good,thou it has s-lcd but the display is good if u are looking for a phone under 21k it is good i have been playing all hd and 3d games and it response is good battery is also good,its fun to play tegra optimized games.it takes time to charge like 3 hrs but stands well for 2 days with normal usage.but when the ram usage is more than 450 the scroll lags a bit for that i use fast reboot :D

In india galaxy r is cheaper than galaxy plus so is a better deal

I got this phone today, found its now with 4 GB of memory. Even if the packet shows 8 GB memory, it comes in 4 GB. Samsung is not doing fair business. Apart this phone is cool and outstanding.

tbh I MUCH prefer my motorola atrix over this. the ppi, the battery, and the internal storage are better, plus with teh right rom, i get 1080p video on my atrix ^.^

Many thanks to GSMArena to provide such a comprehensive review.
I have been using this device for quite sometime and all I have is praises to Samsung for finding the right product for the right market! Easily the best and most dependable dual-core android with a lot price tag (atleast in India).
Bottomline: If you are not a Geek (Android Rooting enthusiast), please choose SGR over O2X!

Nice phone.....yeah the battery drains fast...and the only thing which is missing is the super amoled..bt

I do not use Wifi, or Bluetooth so they are always disabled. Bluetooth may have be used once in a week. With regards to 3G yes. I keep background apps data and auto sync disabled. I need to keep data services on since I get work msg on whats app ( 4 - 5 messages a day).Two hours in a day - during my break hours, I completely disable data.
I sync Gmail manually twice a day, so that there isn't much load on battery. I am using display brightness at 20% and screen light time out is 1 min.

If you are keep using Wifi,3g,BT,Ofcourse bat life willbe that much,for all smart phone main challenge is bat life . But if you have disabled those app and enable when ever you need. So you will get a good bat life. I have disabled all back ground data and other app like 3g,BT,Wifi,Sync. i m enabling when i need those . You wouldnt beleive i got 48+hrs. If yoy dnt beleive i can post the scr shot also. Thanking you
