i927 comes with 8GB internal and is AT&T (USA) firmware.
i927R comes with 4GB internal and is Rogers (Canada) firmware.

It's upgradable to ICS for some time now... should update that section. :)

In India, it is available only by maniacstore and they are selling with seller's warranty with another modal name i.e. i927R. The original has name as i927 only.
Are using the same handset. Please reply.

hi everyone.. i loved the specs of this phone.. only problem is its not available in any of the stores in bangalore { n i believe nowhere in india}.. am planning of buying it from this online site- www.maniacstore.com, but the prob is they are selling it with "seller warranty".. not sure how good an idea it is to buy with that.. so anyone has a say how safe it is with respect to " seller warranty" or anyone having a hands on experience of buying from this particular site ?? would highly appreciate the response

My last question is about physical keys that exists in pro and not on the glide, as far as i know main keys (Menu, back, home) in glide are touch keys, as you worked with both, do you feel ok with the touch keys of the new phone compare with physical keys of pro?

upgrade from a Xperia Pro to a Captivate Glide
If you dont used to have to many apps installed the xperia pro will work fine
Otherwise you should upgrade to the captivate glide
The Xperia Pro its a great phone and has a really good keyboard the main downside that it has its the lack off more ram(less than 400MB can't remember the exact number)
In the other hand the Captivate glide has a 2core procesor, 724MB of RAM, Super Amoled display, 8MP camera with almost same quality
The only thing that may not like you its the keyboard
The keys are so flat that its hard to know if you are pressing the right key

I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia pro and i like it very much but i was thinking to replace it with this new samsung captivate glide. Does anyone have the experince of working with both phones and comment which one is better? Xperia has a dedicated shutter key and physical keyboard is great.
