My unit is from Malaysia (sim unlocked version).
After the update, my phone self restart a few time upon loading some heavy apps.
But no more issue after that.
Been updated for 2 months. Pretty stable though.
Maybe factory reset may solve the problem.

Phone worked great until I received the 4.4.2 update July 2014. Now battery life has decreased markedly, inability to make or receive calls and message on an intermittent basis. Receiving the same message several times, and the list goes on. ATT support provided NO help. My old 3 year old blackberry worked better than this!

Just got this phone a month ago, I observed that the battery only last a day and that my unit is having some glitches in receiving mobile signal from my service provider as compared to the previous mobile phone that Im using.

bob, 02 Aug 2014Why only 8 mp camera and no 13 mp like other s4 ?!!!My S4 Active's 8 MP cam is comparable to and you can pit it against the regular S4's 13 MP, even on Note 3's 13 MP. My gf owns a note 3 but she is amazed by my s4 active's shots, even on low light. No doubt.

I have 3 S4 active on my att plan and we have antenna issues. Have to reboot a lot. After reboot we get missed messages and missed calls. Am I alone? Never had this problem with S2 before transition.

Be responsible, check every port if its properly sealed before you dip it in water or soak it or what so ever. For those people who always winning because they want the phone to be more effective underwater well.. please be informed, SAMSUNG company built this phone just for only in an accident situation. for example, you accidentally drop it on a water, so you will not gonna buy new phone because your S4 active is still working fine. If you really want an underwater device, go buy for really underwater camera that can sink to 20 meters. SIMPLE! haaayzz...
