Would y... moreFrom China, the shops of China Telecom or on the taobao website (still China), China Telecom has an official store, the price in the stores is 5,900 RMB (937 USD) but i bought the phone with 4,900 RMB (778 USD), i have a friend who work at China Telecom.

Apparently some people has bought this smsung I929. Would you plz give some idea from where you bought it? It may help many people who are wondering where is it available online or in china or in Pakistan or in India or elsewhere? Its released 4 months ago so I assume it must be available somwhere. Thanks in advance

Anonymous, 25 Apr 2012I bought this phone but the same problem with Google Market... moreGoogle Play will never work. You need to install the application's from google play using another phone (Galaxy SII) which has the google play, then backup your application's on that phone using the Titanium Backup, after that open (unrar) the .apk files, copy the .apk files on your i929 sd card and install all the application's. Also, I installed "App Center" and I downloaded many applications from there.

Anonymous, 21 Apr 2012is it slot 1 gsm+cdma and slot 2 gsm?Slot 1 is: "CDMA: China Telecom CDMA01 or "GSM: China Telecom GSM01" you can switch between the two options. Slot 2: GSM02. BUT if you put a GSM sim (China Mobile or China Unicom) in the slot 1 is not working, the GSM for the slot 1 is just for the China Telecom. You activate the GSM01 just when you are out of China in roaming so the CDMA sim card can connect to the GSM networks.

AnonD-50536, 15 Apr 2012Can we upgrade the operating system?For the moment there is NO possibility to upgrade, other than the "Software update" in the menu. I updated one time after i bought the phone. I think will take many months or "years" until somebody will make a custom rom (root) for this model as long there is just in China this model, until now. I saw more down one comment posted by "VoID" about the phone quality, all i can say is that i "killed" the phone until now but never freezes or stop working, more than that, also the battery life time is much better than SG SII I-19100.

There is no "Hold" option for the call or conference possibility between the two lines...

From long time Samsung is not launching dual active dual SIM (GSM + GSM)base mobile phone. Why ??????????????
