This is the worst phone ever I have used.
You can't make it silent during an incoming call. Only way is to lift the call or find the volume button and and reduce the volume to zero.
You can't set it to a mode where both ring tone and vibration works.
Phone shows full signal but the one who calls you will hear that you are not reachable.
Oftenly, it displays letters in mirror view. ( Damn.. I don't know why this happens )
And the worst part is, you will hear your voice back when you are talking and the same happens to the caller who called.
My friends and others are so frustrated to call my cell and they requested me to change my phone and promised that they will raise a fund for it if needed.
This was all my terrible experience with this model within 3 months and now this phone is sleeping quietly in my cupboard as a show piece.

Alex, 24 Jul 2008can anyone tell me, there's no option to set the ring-tone ... morewhat i meant to say was: is there an option you can se to vibrate AND ring, not only vibrate THEN ring?

i m using this phone for past one week.but i have no idea of any indications of it being fully charged.either on or off the bars keep on blinking for whenever disconnected and again connected to the charger.please tell me of any indications of full charge.what is the normmal charging time?

I recently purchased a Samsung J600 mobile about a month back and have noticed that the battery charge does not even last for a day. I dont make or receive too many calls , neither do i get time to listen to MP3 or take/view videos..i got the battery replaced last week and this week again the mobile is not retaining battery charge.I am a big fan of Nokia and have about 3 days of charge in my Nokia mobile.This is the first iam experiencing with a Samsung mobile. Anyone out there experience the same problem as mine ? Please let me know if this is the fault with the battery or the handset .Thanks,

tushar, 16 Jun 2008hey guys can u please tell me how to set the wall paper on ... morewell........... u can try this... if u wanna set the image to the full screen, just view the image and press the volume button if u cud see a (+) sign in ur top right of the image... if u see that sign, just press the upper volume button... the pic gets zoomed. u can press the arrow keys to select the best part of the picture and set it as wallpaper..
but when u r setting a picture in ur memory card, move it to the phone first and then do the procedure..

rebeccaaa, 21 Jul 2008well i may be getting this phone this week. but after some ... morepls don go behind the looks... the phone is not good in sound..
you cannot hear the tone if someone is calling you in the traffic. moreover its irritating when u are about to cut the call nd it takes few more seconds to happen n thn u lose few more balance.. and its quite disappointing that u cannot use any other application while using the mp3 player.. it also doesnt support any of the theme files..
it also doesnt support most of the utility softwares that the other company mobiles support.. i was disappointed when i heard these things and feeling for my wrong decision to choose this mobile...
pls don go behind the looks of it... this also doesnt lasts long... when u r using without the cover, the silver outline goes off and the back panel is made up of poor plastic... so after a month, this mobile also loses its looks....
the decision is up to u..

well i may be getting this phone this week. but after some of these comments it doesnt seem like anyones enjoys having it. should i get it or not? it looks wonderful and shiny and i would like to get it but i dont know if i should.

i would advise you to get this phone i really enjoy using it and it has some really cool features about it. i love this phone so much its soooooo cool, mostly all my friends have this phone aswell so if your thinking of gettingit i would go ahead.

no suffient features in the mobiles and facing lot of problems, it is not worth the money, samsung qulity degraded through this mobile
