I would like to buy this phone,but I think that teh camera is not so good,cuz it's 1.3

This phone is a good phone but I was just wondering if anyone could email me and tell me how to connect it correctly to the computer as I only just recently bought it a couple of days ago.

Very strong(been thrown at several walls) can only hold a maximum of 4 songs though. Great phone i'd buy it again any day.

I'd like to know if this phone is any good or not because it looks really good and all the features I would like but there are so many bad reports about this phone!! Why?! Is it better than the O2 X-1b is what I want to know (the phone I have currently!). And can you bluetooth with any other phone?

I swapped this phone with my mum, about 2 month ago, from a motorola flip up.
Bad Points:
With out a memory card this phone can only hold 3 of my songs. where do a buy cheap memory cards under £5 or £10 at the most...
The camara is not very good, you cant shake and the camera takes a while to take the picture....
When calling someone the phone locks, wich is annoying on a touch screen, when you accidently call someone...
It wont let me transfer pictures to my computer...
I cant hear it ring, am i deaf??...
Good points.
If i charge the phone all night the battery lasts 2 days - 5 days...
It comes in blue...

After I lost my beloved old samsung d500 and another short lived affair with my moto L6, I went back to samsung. Since I really didnt want to spend much, the Univercell guy, suggested the SGH600 or SLIK as the adverts claimed. Ive had it now for a few months, so here my appraisal
One thing most samsungs have is style and this is stylish to the core, has a very good smooth slider mechanism. Very decent build quality (good use of chrome), nice compact size. Infact everyone who saw it were suprised at its sub 6K price infact based on looks alone!
When it comes to performance, thats where the sub 6K quality comes glaring to the hilt. As reported by many others
The Good
- Looks
- Battery life
- samsung s/w cd to sync and stuff
The OK
- decent audio output
- camera images
- has provision for memory expansion
- the very limited music player features
- Calls dont drop, unless ure in very bad signal areas
The Bad
- Phone heats up
- inboard memory is only 20MB shared and it wont read of memory card directly, so u have to copy your mp3 to phone memory and set it up
as caller ring (u can copy max 2-3 songs)
- the touchscreen buttons, is over responsive and can get quite obtrusive
- the headphone quality, doesnt say in the ear at all
- camera/photo quality very average
The Ugly
- The blessed phone freezes frequently !
during calls, playing games etc and I have to remove the battery to reset it
- when the call ends, the phone is still doing some wierd processing and doesnt close up for a few seconds !
- the charger conked in 2 months
conclusion - Am a bit dissapointed with the phone performance, because Ive always been a samsung fan. I exhanged the moto L6 because it kept droppin calls, but not once did it freeze up on me. The Samsung on the other hand works ok and suddenly acts up like an errant kid. Still its a decent buy for its price tag !
As for me, I'm upgrading back to the high-end and am looking between the nokia n82 or SE p1i

i bought this phone 4 months ago. im dissatisfied because:
1. i could not message when a song is being played.
2. sound is not good. i couldnt hear the ringtone when im out.
3.the base cover is made of cheap plastic. the black colour is fading out very soon.
4. there is no cover available for this phone in the market.
5.the battery gets heated too much whenever i charge or call or hear songs.
6.hangs often.
pls make sure all these things before you buy this model.

I have had trouble with this phone from day one.It has not been functioning properly( working only intermittently).I got no satisfaction from the manufacturer nor from the carrier from whose shop I purchased it,I have now relegated it to a drawer and gone back to using my old Nokia.

been using a nokia model till i saw j600. i must say, i am satisfied. like any other mobiles, you can't get all the features you want in one mobile. this model doesn't cost that much but you'll surely get more than what you money's worth.

i bought the phone 1 month ago. In 2 weeks of using it, the LCD has a problem. As soon as i slide it open, it blanks out..hence, i cant call anyone. I bought this cell after reading the comments here...i really have my doubts about how genuine these reviews are. When i showed it to the store owner, he said that i should take it to Samsung service centre...needless to say i am going to give a case against him in the consumer court. Please dont buy this set.

When i brought this phone the people that were going to sell was going to give me a 2G for an extar $20. the other co-workers said that the phone could not handle a 2G... but with further re-search i found that it could... i was very disappointed with the sellers. There are some things on the phone that i am abit ify about but other then that its a very good phone.

Had this phone for 1 month. Great for money (£60) Need micro sd to use as music phone - get one from dealextreme.com for $6. Had a little trouble unlocking it but no bluetooth problems. Worked with Nokia, Sony, ans other Samsungs. I'd buy again. Bear in mind, people with a gripe are more likely to post than those who are fully satisfied!!

i would like to buy a samsung j600, but there are quite a few bad reports about it. can any one recomend me to buy this phone. although it does seem really good. and is it true about you can only use blue tooth with other samsungs? please can some one get back to me.
