I remember my cousin was selling this phone to my mother and she asked me if I want it. Of course who would refuse a new phone? Haha I still use this name on any forums I've been into lmao I miss the sliding phones! i have a photo of this phone on my Facebook. God, its camera is so bad you could see yourself in pixels lmao. I remember my thumbs getting hurt from prolonged texting! I miss it. I was looking for the name of my old phone and stumbled onto this comment. I know in my heart this is my comment lmao idk why I'm laughing by myself

I had this phone way back in 2009, I liked it. But the things I didn't like about this are: Music can't be played from background, when you want a certain song, you cannot type the song down and you have to press the navigation keys all the way. I didn't like the keypad tones though its nice, but it sucks when you press fast (texting is the very good example). The battery life is good, it depends on the user if the battery drains fast. The LCD flex had problem, it became all white, so I had it replaced but after a few months it occur again. The camera was poor. (because its only 1.3 megapixel) but depends on the lighting and I still managed to capture some good shots. After using this I became traumatized on being a slider/folding phones. I use touch screen and qwerty phones.

the battery easily gets drain , after a while the keys get unresponsive , had to press very hard to have it respond , i decide to disassemble it, remove the membrane, rub the button gently with a fine sandpaper , have it reassemble , now, its responded well.

For the price? Yes. I gotta 2nd hand one for R350(South African currency) but one thing. The slider must be cellotaped (with sticky tape) so that it cant be closed. The ribbon (that connects the 2 parts together gets worn). But Android is the phone to get. Oh, yeah.

the music player sux, no background playing, playlists sux, its slow as hell, wen i finnshed playing a track and wana go to anada 1, i hev to start from the top of the list.

I have had this phone for almost 4 years now and haven't had any of the other complaints. It ha worked well up until now as it has stopped getting service and 3 buttons don't work. Good phone though

I had this phone for about 3 years. It worked well on the first year but after we change the flex that's when the problem started... Keys not responding, shutsdown by itself, cannot save file on memory card via bluetooth, screen turns white, samsung must try to create a phone that will last, not just for a year..
