Samsung launches Galaxy J5 and J7 2016 in India

Samsung has launched the 2016 edition of the Galaxy J5 and J7 in India.

The Galaxy J5 2016 has a 5.2-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage with microSD support, 13 megapixel rear/5 megapixel front camera with f1.9 aperture and LED flash on both sides, dual SIM support, 3100mAh battery, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The Galaxy J7 2016 has a 5.5-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, Exynos 7870 chipset, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage with microSD support, 13 megapixel rear/5 megapixel front camera with f1.9 aperture and LED flash on both sides, dual SIM support, 3300mAh battery, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Both phones feature diamond-cut metal frame and metal finish plastic on the back, and will be available in black, gold, and rose gold.

The Galaxy J5 2016 is priced at INR 13,990 ($210) and the Galaxy J7 2016 at INR 15,990 ($240). The phones will be available exclusively through Flipkart from May 10 onwards. Airtel subscribers will get double data for up to six months.
