Samsung launches the Galaxy Fit3 in India
Samsung has announced that it is launching the Galaxy Fit3 in the Indian market. This announcement comes shortly after the global launch that took place yesterday.
The Galaxy Fit3 is priced at INR 4,999, which is 25% more than the price of the Fit2, which had launched for INR 3,999. An INR 500 cash back offer from various banks does bring the price down to INR 4,499.
The Galaxy Fit3 features an aluminum body with a new 1.6-inch, 256 x 402 resolution AMOLED display, which is 45% wider than its predecessor. The band runs on FreeRTOS and has a claimed battery life of 13 days and can charge up to 65% in 30 minutes.
Other features include over 100 different exercises and sleep tracking, ambient light sensor, 5ATM IP68 dust and water resistance, heart rate monitor, fall detection, and over 100 watch faces. The device is only compatible with Android phones.
The Galaxy Fit3 will be available in three colors, Gray, Silver, and Pink Gold.
