Samsung strikes back at Apple with lawsuit of their own

22 April, 2011

Samsung promised it will strike back on Apple because of their lawsuit against the Galaxy S lineup. Well it just did that filling 10 patent infringement claims over the Apple products in three different countries. And it’s just the beginning.

According to Samsung Apple has infringed five of its patents in South Korea, two in Japan and three in Germany. As we previously reported the cases are most probably about wireless patents.

There is a good chance there are more of these patent claims against Apple coming. The outcome is quite unclear but we are not quite sure if Apple made the right thing poking at one of its biggest suppliers of phone parts.

We guess it will take a couple of years of barking at each other before we see some real settlements.
