Too many Problems in this phone.
I had this phone for 3 months now, and it already started to show it's real color, Touch screen now hardly works, i touch at the bottom, touch happens at middle...it hardly shows name in INBOX, i tried with both +92 and 03 but it works for that time, as soon as i put it away for an hour it again shows # instead of name, mobile is really slow...and the camera is like 4 megapixel none of my friends appreciated this phone.

so i tried to move at the back just to reduce the noise. but it has the same effect. fyi, when i compared the sound from a friend's phone, her phone was doing ok.
if it's possible, i hope samsung updates their software to support feedback reduction. because i really like my phone. i just don't like what's happening to it when i record a video.
you can try it one time and see for yourself.

Just got this M8800, from using Nokia for years, have now spent all day trying to sync to my Outlook, has anyone successfully done this? With Nokia its a rather painless exercise, so now I can't get all 207 contacts of mine on my new toy, very fustrated.

I'm having issue with the sound quality when recording a video. it's like this, i was with my niece last time and we're trying to record a video from a mini-concert. sound-system was good and production was great. but when i'm done recording the vid, the sound totally screw everything. i have to delete vid i recorded. worst, i did another recording with another concert/event and i have the same dilemma.
do you have sol'n for this?

opera browser can be installed
3. Can Samsung Mobile Widgets be downloaded onto the phone, on top of the existing ones?
the widgets are very limited, the latest firmware has a bbc widget and a more widget option, but it only has a bunch of widget, it seems samsung does not offer this phone the same amount of apps that it offers all its other phones
4. Is Sharepix avaliable on the phone and/or can photographs taken on the phone be uploaded onto the
web directly from the phone?
no.
5. Can word or pdf documents be read on the phone?
pdf documents yes, it is actually good at readign pdf documents, i have not tried to read word documents yet.
6. Can Facebook and MSN be directly accessed from mobile widgets on the phone?
no.

burt_robinson, 01 Jun 2009i can't make opera mini work on my pixon. it says file type... moreThe Pixon won't allow you to upload apps from you pc to the phone. You will have to visit mini.opera.com from your phone's default browser and download Opera from there.
