I fully agree with SK. Apart from that I cud not install Java applications on the phone. Any idea how to do this or this is also not supported!!

Hi all, I got the pixon since last 4 days. My views-
First day – very excited to have a upgrade from my old LG viewty. Played for almost full day with pixon.
Second day onwards – the excitement vanished as I found that it is having only a good camera , video recording and web browser . In other areas I found my viewty scored more than pixon.
For ease of use , in looking for sub – sub menus,
locking system of veiwty while watching movies on the go so that you don’t get so many options with the slightest touch on the screen,
Searching for contacts , I was amazed that pixon doesn’t offer searching by alphabets typing. It only has one slider on side which takes you from one alphabet to other and once you reach that alphabet you are left on the mercy of scrolling down to long lists before you finally get to your desired contact.
Moreover I could not get voice through my Tv when I transferred the videos to usb device and tried to watch it on TV through any standalone DVD players with USB port. It shows “ audio codec not supported”. Viewty videos played without any problems.
I am still looking how to get the multi tasking done on pixon. Say if am using contacts menu and simultaneously if I want to open message menu, how to do that? Any help in this regard will is welcome.
Video quality – I am getting smooth ness in video files ( it doesn’t look like 30 fps ) when I play in on computer or TV. I could not understand ( I am recording with 720x480 size).
Still I am getting to the other aspects of the phone will update you all with new findings or observations, till then bye. sk

Hey..Folks..!!!I ve been using pixon since 15 days and I found it really amazing.I am a phone freak and like to keep on changing my phone every four months.I had N95 8 GB earlier but I found it too bulky and unstylish.But pixon is gr8...amazing phone guys...go for it!!!!

The more i use my Pixon the more i like it, and people are always impressed by its great classy looks.
The only phone i would better buy now would be Omnia HD but it is still not out, and far too big.
This one is perfect if you like taking pictures or video.But if you want long lasting battery and install many programs for professionnal use choose another one.

-more responsive... moreThe Xenon flash on the Renoir is weaker then the LED flash on the Pixon
They both have GPS, but you can use it only for Geo-tagging
The WIFI on the Renoir can't be used for live-streaming (e.g. Youtube)
The touchscreen is more responsive on the Pixon

hi..i recently bought this phone..and its a really cool phone..but i got a problem..how do i do this:

When you open the text input field, the virtual
keypad appears. Tap the down arrow next to
Keypad and select one of the following input
methods for entering text:
• Keypad
• Handwr. full sc.
• Handwriting box 1
• Handwriting box 2
i cannot find a down arrow button anywhere next to the keypad...please help me...please....

im having probs with the keypad lock thing, how do i stop it from unlocking? everytime i lock it from the side it re opens once in my pocket, pain in the arse but so far it hasnt made a cold call
