Cat, 09 Jan 2009thanks...couldn't quite figure out the magnifying glass!!!!Click on "Phone book". On the upper left hand side you will see the double arrow. Press hold lower arrow, pull slowly down, you will see the magnifying letters release on desired letter to see the phone list. Hope this helped!

Make sure that you un-select the LAUNCH towards the end of the download. You do not want to run the software yet 3) load the other part of the software called USB connection (or something like that) 4) launch the software. Hope this helps.

Pixon Best phone i ever had !
For fun just bought a SKG chinese phone with 12 loudspeakers (true!!!!!)louder than my boombox, TV viewing and recording, touch screen, 2 SIM cards, 3Mp camera. Price 100 euros !! but quality could be better.

When it come to scrolling through contacts there is a magnifying glass in the top right hand corner press on that and then slide down to the letter that your friends name starts with. Not easy to do sometimes but it can be useful....

can you get to your contacts without having to scroll all the way through them? is there a way to search them for example? what if i need to get to my friend who's name begins with 's'? do i have to scroll all the way down????

The saga continues....
Got it to work on my computers byinstalling the software that came with it but not using it! the phonebook editing does not work but I can see the flash card as a drive on my computer.
It happily takes an 8gb card but it cannot handle a lot of files. I copied about 300 mp3 and about 15,000 pictures onto the card but the phone then stopped recognising the card and then failed to boot up at all! So I managed to break the phone in 15 hours. Took it back and got another brand new one.
I now use a 2gb card (there's no pint in using a 8gb card unless you have large files - not large numbers of files) and have limited the number of items on it to a few hundred just in case it kills this phone as well.
Apart from all of this I do really like it...

I have Contract with AT&T in USA
Do anyone know How to download AIM or MSN messenger.
Like other AT&T phone?
I cant download, always say failed.
How to use Google map, I trying to use But I couldnt maybe because of setting network? but I can use internet tho.... Um
Fist time to use Unlock phone so very hard time for me.
ANyone Can help?

O.K. I sorted the problem below with the bluetooth connection to my car asking for authorisation each time. You have to set the phone to NOT being discoverable all the time which is weird but it seems to work.
Anyway, I now have a new problem whereas I cannot get any of my computers to recognise the phone after installing the software. I have two Vista and one XP computers and it fails on all of them. So don't expect to be able to connect this phone to a computer. It might work for other but for me it has been a 100% failure rate.

Got this phone today and it is great. Aprt from hands free connection to my car where the handset asks for authorisation ever time I get in my car. My older Motorola V8 just connected once authorised but this phone asks every time even though I have authorised it. Anybody know what settings should be so that it does not need authorising every time I get in?

I have had this phone for 5 days, and I am still trying to find out how everything works. Apart from disappointment at battery life, like everybody else,I am coming to love the phone moreandmore. I did have a real problem setting the date. I followed instructions in the tiny manual and easily set timezone and time, but I could find nowhere to set the date. Today for the first time the scroll down worked on that screen, and I found the needed windows to set the date as well. Now my problem is getting the email set up to function. So far advice from my ISP has not solved this issue.
And finally, two issues about the much-praised camera. Can you/how do you zoom in for close-up shots, and should the flash work automatically in low light? (Mine does not, and I see no information regarding this. Anyone know?)
