i must admit, while i assume its a good phone, its not much of a looker, and certainly not as good looking as the original pixon M8800. In fact, this new one looks a lot like the S5600 which im not too much of a fan of, but lots of people do like it! If you want a simple, touchscreen, relatively cheap samsung, thats what you want, but when you get used to the better phones *coughs* (samsung pixon/omnia/iPhone) you wont like it! Im off the point, I dont like the look of this, and as far as im aware, the only difference is the camera, and c'mon, who needs even 8 on a phone?! Ok, i was fooled into buying one, and yeah, its a good camera, but it eats into the battery like hell, and i doubt samsung will have a heavy duty battery! lol! So, i have my doubts about this phone, but please get back if anyone gets one to tell me if im right or wrong!
PS, also, please let me know if there is a change in the hold key, its soooooooo annoying on M8800! thanks!

Imran Amjad, 25 Jun 2009I am finally in love with Samsung. I had been a Sony Ericss... moreI am tempted to buy the Omnia HD but due to a bad experience with the original HD with respect to reception, i am scared to make that investment. It would hurt to spend soo much on a phone and then not be able to make calls properly. Samsung has to do something about their cell phone reception.

You can find the Omnia HD for 550-580 euro and this phone which isn't a smartphone is going to cost 640 euros!!!! And with the taxes is going to cost 750 !!!! I'd rather to buy something else , like Htc , Nokia or Lg . Or to buy the Omnia HD

What the hell you are thinking in the Samsung's marketing department

I want to know when this is being released! Apparently it is being released at the end of June in europe but not sure if that is still the case.

I bet it doesn't come out in the UK until August or September which would be really annoying, Although if it released in europe at the end of this month i might just buy an import.

I am getting so fed up of the lack of info/hands on/reviews with this phone. In the statement given by samsung, it states that the phone is due a June release in Europe! Well, you've got 7days left samsung.

Thats kinda where my head is too. For me, I just need a stylish looking phone, good camera, good UI and a responsive touchscreen. This phone looks like it is the one for me.

I just spoke to my Orange opperator who said that the phone is undergoing tests and isn't avaliable yet.

And according to celluloco.com......it DOES have a 800Mhz CPU. Whoop Whoop.
